Daniel Allcock

Associate Director – Automation

Dan became part of the JBAndrews family in February 2019 and is Head of Automation. Dan really hit the ground running, and in the first year of his Executive Search career at JBA, he set the record as being the highest individual achiever, and was top performer for the company. He fulfils this role by leading the development of our Global Automation business; managing a team of consultants who operate over a range of verticals including: Warehouse, Factory, Process and Scientific. Dan and his esteemed team collaborate with some of the industry’s best talent from around the world.

Dan moved to Leeds from Cheshire, where he was brought up, to study at Leeds Beckett University and University of Leeds. He studied Sports & Exercise and Nutrition for which he achieved First Class Honours in both his BSc and MSc. Whilst at Uni Dan worked in the hospitality industry; a sector which he excelled in, becoming a senior manager. Despite the commitments of both academia and employment, Dan still found the time to enjoy a favoured past-time of his – Sport; playing Men’s Lacrosse and competing at the highest level.

His ability to exceed in whatever he puts his mind to – whether that is in one or multiple areas –  is a true reflection of Dan’s dedication and drive. He attributes these qualities from having a twin brother and participating in an array of sports at county and national levels during his time at university. This drive really comes through in Dan’s work and is definitely part of why he is in the role he is today.

Dan is at the top of his game in his career and outside of the office, and is still a very keen sportsman. He has recently rediscovered his passion for participating in Triathlons; an activity that he took a break from whilst at Uni, but hopes that he can still successfully perform.
