Senior Principal Consultant – Logistics & Supply Chain

Many youngsters look up to their favourite sporting hero and develop their own aspirations of becoming a professional sportsperson. Scott was no exception and his dream as a young boy was to make it big in football – an ambition that he chased for many years.

Sadly for Scott he fell into the majority of young hopefuls, and eventually came to the conclusion that this career was not meant to be. Although he had spent many years in the sporting world, he was determined not to let this unfulfilled objective stand in his way of success. Scott turned his attention to furthering his education, and enrolled at Leeds Beckett University, where he acquired his degree in Sport Business Management.

Scott became interested in pursuing a career in recruitment, and in 2019 he became part of the JBAndrews team. Scott has been able to utilise the knowledge and expertise that he acquired from his degree, and apply them to his current role at JBA where he successfully markets candidates and clients in the Executive Search & Selection sector. His specialist area is in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry within the Northeast and Midwest US, Australia, New Zealand, and Chinese markets.

Everyone knows that having a strong background in sports means you have serious determination and motivational skills. The same can be said for Scott, as he prides himself on being an ambitious and positive-thinking individual. These personal characteristics are qualities that serve him well both inside and outside of his work, and his love of sport, alongside a competitive nature ensures he gets on well with his colleagues.

As well as playing football, Scott is a keen golfer and, unlike at the office, when you find him on the course he’s often under par!
